Step 4
The study program consists of three parts; 1) Home study 2) Review of
Critical Thinking 3) Study material and listening to audio tapes.
* Class room instruction if required
Step 5
The nurse has to attempt and clear the online tests with scores of 70%
and above. The online test can be done from anywhere in the world or
in the comfort of your home. They will have to follow the schedule and
complete the test as per the dates mentioned in the documents. There
are mainly 3 Phases of on-line testing. Phase 1 is based on the
Review, Phase 2 on the 10 Areas of NCLEX and Phase 3 on Critical
Thinking. There are also up to 8 full-length tests for practice.
The Clinical Nurse managers from PPR will monitor all the tests
scores. An individual Test Profile is created to help the candidates
understand and identify their weak areas. The nurses will also receive
coaching reports to access their performance on the on-line tests.
Step 6
While the nurse is testing, the temporary US Licensure will be. Once
the nurse successfully completes the online tests and is approved a
temporary Nursing License, they are scheduled to attempt the NCLEX-RN
at the center nearest to you. From the day the nurse joins the program
to the day the nurse tests the NCLEX, we estimate it to be
approximately 4 months.
Vira International will provide all assistance in order for the nurse
to take the NCLEX at the earliest, at a center close by. NCLEX RN is
available at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi and Chennai. Vira /
PPR will make arrangements for your travel and accommodation to test.
